Yoga Classes


We offer a wide variety of classes designed to meet the needs of all of our students, regardless of their experience, fitness level, or mobility.

Unwind Express -Unwind from the day with this 45 minute express class. Stretch, flow, breathe and unwind with gentle movement and a nice slow pace. This class is appropriate for all levels.

Gentle Yoga – Gentle yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga and focuses on very gentle and mindful movement, stretching and breath work.  It is appropriate for all levels, particularly students brand new to yoga, individuals recovering from injuries or illnesses, women who are pregnant, or students with restricted or limited mobility.  Many of the postures are seated or reclined, and the wall is often used to assist in the standing postures. Chairs are also available for those who are unable to work down on the mat. Appropriate props and modifications are used throughout the class. (Some of our gentle classes will be warmed by our infrared heating panels.)

Slow Flow – The breath is at the heart of this slower paced vinyasa class, designed to help you improve your balance, find your focus, increase your flexibility, build core strength and discover the light within you.  You will be guided through a mindfully designed sequence of standing and seated postures linking breath and movement and helping you tap into your inner resources. This class is appropriate for all levels including beginners, and will include more dynamic movement than the gentle yoga classes. Some movements may be difficult for those with limited mobility. (Some slow flow classes will be warmed by our infrared heating panels.)

Hot Flow (Vinyasa) – Often referred to as a moving meditation, vinyasa yoga is a dynamic, inspiring practice characterized by breath-synchronized movement.  This class will take you through a mindfully designed sequence or flow, moving through seated and standing postures at a steady pace as you build heat, increase strength, improve flexibility, and find inner stillness.  Vinyasa is an athletic style of yoga.  While it is appropriate for all levels including some beginners, students with limited or restricted mobility or those who are recovering from illness or injury may find it too challenging. This class will be heated from 95-103 degrees so bring a towel and be prepared to sweat!

Fire Flow – Take your practice to a new level with this intermediate to advanced level, energizing and athletic vinyasa class.  Safely experiment with arm balances, inversions and challenging transitions as you strengthen, detoxify and build endurance.  This class is not recommended for beginners and yoga experience is recommended. The class will be heated from 95-103 degrees.
